| Snakes
are very adaptable creatures to be found in the driest of
deserts, the humid rainforests, high to the north and far
in the south, and even wide at sea. Snakes has concurred the
world with more than 3000 species and new ones are found every
year.
We
will in time make this site as interactive as possible, with
a species list for each country, and with individual genus
accounts, telling as much as possible about each species and
giving a full list of references. Any help with this project
will be fully appreciated.
